Attorney Gary Dawson has more than 30 years of legal experience in personal injury matters. He was one of the first board certified Civil Trial Lawyers by the Tennessee Board of Legal Specialization and Education, which is a rare designation earned by experience and results in practice.  He has obtained seven-figure recoveries even for individuals who have returned to meaningful and productive careers.

Gary Dawson practiced largely in the area of insurance defense, and witnessed how insurance companies sometimes found ways to avoid paying out legitimate claims to their insureds. He began limiting his practice exclusively to personal injury in 1989.

Gary Dawson is a Knoxville native and Central High School graduate. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Tennessee, where he earned a Bachelors Degree with high honors in 1975. He received his law degree from UT in 1978 and began practicing that same year.
